In his speech at the ceremony, Luo Xunqiang, Chairman of CDTL , stated that the penetration rate of new energy commercial vehicles, especially new energy heavy duty trucks, is expected to exceed 10% in 2024, while the penetration rate of new energy specialized vehicles is expected to exceed 22%.In the foreseeable future, this sector is projected to grow at an extremely high rate, with penetration rates reaching a very significant proportion by 2027.

According to a report by Boston Consulting Group, the future form of new energy heavy duty trucks will evolve toward high integration and high intelligence.Distributed drive and Electromechanical Brake (EMB) will effectively enhance the vehicle's layout space, lower the vehicle's center of gravity and energy consumption, and improve the vehicle's control precision and safety.

Especially in the application of special-purpose vehicles, the use of distributed drive + Electromechanical Brake will save over 40% of layout space and improve control precision by over 30%, laying a solid foundation for the convenience of special-purpose vehicle upper structure layout and future expansion of autonomous driving.

Suizhou, with an annual production capacity of 200,000 commercial specialized vehicles, is hailed as the “Capital of Specialized Vehicles.” It currently stands at the early stage of new energy commercial vehicle penetration. The distributed drive production line for commercial heavy duty trucks at CDTL's Hubei base, closely aligned with specialized vehicles and market needs, will grow in tandem with Suizhou's specialized vehicle industry.
