CDTL Partners with Horizon Motor, a New U.S. Vehicle Manufacturing Force, to Start a New Electric Journey

On October 29, U.S. local time, CDTL and Horizon Motor, a new American vehicle-Manufacturing force, signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Ohio, the United States. Mr. Luo Xunqiang, Chairman of CDTL, and Mr. Sean, CEO of Horizon Motor, attended and signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.

In recent years, the development of zero-emission vehicles has become an industry focus as global awareness of environmental protection increases and governments continue to introduce supportive policies for clean energy transportation. The U.S. Joint Office of Energy and Transportation's National Zero Emissions Freight Strategy, launched in 2024, aims to promote the widespread adoption of zero-emission trucks and encourages states to take action to promote the construction of charging infrastructures for medium and heavy-duty vehicles, thereby accelerating the realization of zero-emission road freight transportation. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has also updated its greenhouse gas emissions regulations for commercial trucks and buses, further clarifying the industry's path to emissions reductions.

The cooperation between CDTL and Horizon Motor will leverage CDTL's strong R&D strength, core component accumulation and the strategic resources of Horizon Motor's core shareholders to rapidly promote the landing of electric special vehicles, electric trailers and electric tractors and other projects in the United States.
